...but life had other plans.

Hello, friends. I have not even posted a single real blog post yet. This is not what I thought my first post would be.

When I started this website, I had lofty ambitions for a robust site on which I could share knowledge gained over the course of my time at the Small Satellite Research Laboratory. There would be musings on industry news, informative content, diagrams, etc. I envisioned the site as a sort of guide for young professionals like me who might be undertaking the gigantic task of launching a CubeSat, or helping students launch one.

I still have big hopes for this website. However, the time came last month when I had to say goodbye to the University of Georgia. I am no longer working for the Small Satellite Research Laboratory. I will always be grateful for my time at UGA -- *all* of it. And I am especially grateful for the time I spent working with the lab, which spanned from 2016-2025.

Right now, I am spending down time with my family and planning my next steps. I literally don't know where I'll be a year from now. You might think I would be pretty stressed about right now, but honestly, I'm mostly just eager to greet what comes next, whatever that may be.

In any case, please keep hanging around as I develop this website into something useful and fun!
